Professional SummaryDr. Zakir Sultan is currently working as Principal Scientist Centre for Advanced Research in Sciences (CARS) University of Dhaka. He has completed his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Kongju National University, Korea and Post Doctoral Fellow from University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He also served as Quality Assurance Officer at two Pharmaceutical Industries, Senior Lecturer and Head at Department of Pharmacy, Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Assistant Professor and Head at Department of Pharmacy, Daffodil International University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. His main area of research interest focuses on research on drug interactions, bioavailability study and so on, isolation and characterization of bioactive (antimicrobial, anti-cancer and pest control) compounds from medicinal plants, microbes and marine resources, and research on folk medicines. He is registered Pharmacist of Pharmacy Council, Bangladesh. He is member of editorial advisory board in Journal of Scientific Research, and reviewer of various journals. He has published 4 books, 62 research articles in journals and 7 proceeding and presentations contributed as author/co-author.
