Dr. Chandra Sekhar Gahan is currently working as Senior Researcher at Korea Institute of Geoscience and Mineral Resources (KIGAM), South Korea. He has completed his PhD in Engineering from Lulea University of Technology, Sweden, and Postdoctoral Fellow from University of Cape Town, South Africa and Lulea University of Technology, Sweden. Previously he was appointed as Guest Faculty at Utkal University, Bhubaneswar, India, and Project Assistant at Institute of Minerals and Materials Technology (CSIR) Bhubaneswar, India. He successfully supervised 1 PhD, 1 MSc, and 1 BSc student. He has published 23 research articles in journals, 5 edited book and book chapter, and 6 technical reports. Dr. Chandra received honors include Best Student Award from Bhubaneswar Chapter of Indian science Congress Association ISCA, Certified and awarded for securing first position in order of merit among all the students in M.Sc degree and Special Incentive Award from LTU. He is life member of Orissa Botanical Society (OBS), annual member of Association of Microbiologists of India, and member of the South Africa Society of Microbiology. He is member of editorial board in International Journal of Biometrics and Bioinformatics (IJBB), Computer Science Journals (CSC Journals), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He is also serving as reviewer for international scientific journals such as Mineral Processing and Extractive Metallurgy Review, Taylor and Francis Group, Journal of Chemical Technology & Biotechnology, John Wiley & Sons, Inc, Canadian Metallurgical Quarterly, Hydrometallurgy, Elsevier, International Biodeterioration and Biodegradation, Elsevier, Waste Management & Research, SAGE Journals, and International Journal of Biometrics and Bioinformatics (IJBB), Computer Science Journals (CSC Journals), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
