Professional Summary
Jasper F. Mongaya, originally from Balbagon, Mambajao, Camiguin, obtained his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from Fatima College of Camiguin. He went on to complete both a Master in Business Management and a Doctor of Management at Capitol University in Cagayan de Oro City. Driven by an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, he furthered his education by earning a Doctor of Philosophy in Business Management major in International Accountancy from Philippine Christian University.
Currently, he serves as an Associate Professor II at Camiguin Polytechnic State College (CPSC), where he teaches a diverse range of courses, including management, finance, accounting, research, and feasibility studies. As an active researcher, he has published his works in peer-reviewed journals. Moreover, he formerly occupied a part-time teaching role at Fatima College of Camiguin (FCC), where he taught undergraduate and senior high school learners. In his administrative roles at CPSC, he served as the former Director of Production while simultaneously serving as Program Head for both the Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Master in Public Administration programs.
Currently, he is a highly requested financial lecturer, actively engaging in extension activities and delivering financial lectures in the community. Additionally, in his role as a trainer and assessor for Bookkeeping NC III at the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), he often functions as a visiting trainer and assessor at multiple local training and assessment centers in Camiguin and Bukidnon provinces.
