Biography

Dr. Sayang Mohd Deni is currently working as Associate Professor at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Malaysia. She has completed her Ph.D. in Statistics from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, Selangor, Malaysia. Her field of specialization includes Statistical Modeling, Environmental Statistics, Computational Statistics and Applied Statistics. She is member of IEEE, American Statistical Association (ASA), Malaysian Mathematical Science Society (PERSAMA), Institute of Statistics Malaysia (ISM), and graduate member of Institute of Mathematics and Its Application (IMA). Dr. Sayang Mohd Deni received honors includes full PhD Scholarship Award from Universiti Teknologi MARA, Excellent Services Award, and Outstanding Performance Award during final year BSc. She is also serving as editor and reviewer for many journals. She has published 2 books, 27 research articles in journals, and 23conference proceedings contributed as author/co-author. She also received number of research grants for her research work. She is also supervising many master and PhD students.
