Biography

Dr. Lee Khai Ern is currently working as Senior Lecturer/Research Fellow at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Technology from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. Previously he was appointed as Engineer at GUH Circuit Industry (Pg) Sdn. Bhd, Fellow of Universiti Sains Malaysia, Quality System Engineer at Plexus Manufacturing Sdn Bhd, and Management Representative at SMART Modular Technologies Sdn Bhd. Dr. Lee has received honors includes Top Cited Paper 2011 and 2012, Chemical Engineering Journal, USM Sanggar Sanjung Award, Excellent paper - International Conference of Biology, Environment and Chemistry, and USM Fellowship. He has published 28 research articles in journals as well as 1 book chapter and 11 proceedings contributed as author/co-author. His main area of expertise includes Green Technology, Sustainable Management, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Chemical Management. He also completed 15 research grants as project leader and project member. Currently he is supervising 7 MSc and 4 PhD students thesis. He is also serving as reviewer for Chiang Mai Journal of Science, Industrial & Engineering Chemistry Research, Arts and Social Sciences, Sains Malaysiana, Water Resources Management, and Journal of Cleaner Production and editor for Scientific Malaysian and International Journal of Polymer Science.
