Dr. Kamusoko (Ph.D. CUT; MSc, NUST; BSc, MSU) is a Lecturer in the Department of Biotechnology, School of Health Sciences and Technology at Chinhoyi University of Technology, Chinhoyi, Zimbabwe. He teaches classes in microbiology and biotechnology. His main research interest is in industrial and environmental biotechnology with special focus on biofuels, food security, health-related issues, and water and wastewater treatment. Currently, he is working on valorisation of lignocellulosic biomass into biofuels and other value-added products. Mr. Kamusoko is also engaged in research involving quality assurance in higher education. He is committed to drafting informative reporting and furthering research through submission of manuscripts to top peer-reviewed journals. Mr. Kamusoko has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and contributed several book chapters over his 13 years of academic expertise in teaching, research and community engagement. He is also a reviewer of several reputable international journals and a member of the Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE). Mr. Kamusoko has served as a curriculum reviewer, external assessor and programme evaluator in some local and regional institutions in higher education.
