Biography

Dr. Bernerd Mulwa Fulanda is currently working as Lecturer at Department of Biological Pwani University, Sciences, Kilifi, Kenya. He obtained his PhD in Environmental Science from Kagoshima University, Japan. In past he worked as Fisheries Officer at State, Research Scientist at Research and Development (R&D). His area of interest related to Environmental Sciences such as Fish Stock Assessment, Risk Analysis, Fisheries Management and Environmental Monitoring. He is professional member of Western Indian Ocean Marine Sciences Association, Faculty of 1000, African Journal of Food Science (AJFS), South Africa, The Japanese Society of Fisheries Science, Japan, Water for Development Association UNESCO-IHE, Delft, the Netherlands, East African Water Association and Reviewer Journal of Basic and Applied Zoology, Elsevier. He also attended number of scientific meeting and conferences. He has published 24 articles in journals as author/co-author. He supervised number of PhD, MSc and BSc students.
