I am an Artificial Intelligence researcher and software engineer specializing in machine learning, deep learning, data science, and intelligent systems. I hold an MSc in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science from Bahir Dar University, where my research focused on automatic music transcription for Ethiopian Begena using deep learning and scale (Kiñit)-aware note correction techniques.

My research interests include artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, music information retrieval, audio signal processing, natural language processing, and recommender systems. My work focuses on applying AI methods to solve real-world problems while preserving and analyzing cultural knowledge through technology.

My recent research developed deep learning models, including CNN, CRNN, and GAN-based approaches, for automatic transcription of Ethiopian Begena music. The study involved creating a specialized dataset and exploring feature representations such as Mel-spectrograms, MFCCs, and Constant-Q Transform (CQT) for improved music analysis and transcription performance.

Beyond research, I have professional experience in software engineering, machine learning engineering, and data-driven system development. I have worked on AI-powered applications, including recommendation systems, chatbots, data processing pipelines, and intelligent software solutions. I am experienced with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, PySpark, and modern web technologies.

My goal is to contribute to the advancement of artificial intelligence research by developing innovative solutions that combine machine learning, data science, and domain-specific knowledge to address complex challenges.
