Biography

The author was born on September 11, 1971 G.C. in the then East Wolega Zone, the current Horro Guduru Wollega Zone from his mother Adde Denbele Gudeta Dame and his father Obbo Terefe Willy Bidu. He attended his elementary school at Achane Mariam and Fincha junior secondary school and his secondary school at Shambu High School. During the period between 1974 G.C. and 1983 G.C.He joined the then Alemaya University of Agriculture in 1984/85 G.C and graduated with diploma in Rural Economics and Social Development (RESD) in 1985 G.C.
Right after graduation in 1985, he was employed in Ministry of Agriculture and assigned at Kefa Administrative Zone where he worked at Kulokonta and Bonga Awrajas of the zone at different levels of responsibilities such as cooperative organizer, planning and programming expert, planning and programming head, etc.,.

He then transferred to east wollega Administrative Zone and was assigned as a team leader at Anger Gutin Rehabilitation Center and worked at different responsibilities in the zone.

In 1997, he transferred to Bako Agricultural Mechanization Research Center as a head of planning and programming, then as head of Socio-economics and Extension Research Division after he graduated with BA degree in March 2007 in Economics from Unity University. The author is still working at Bako Agricultural Mechanization Research center as a senior research planner. He is married and a father of one daughter. He joined Wollega University, School of graduate Studies for his M. Sc. in Agricultural Economics in June 2011. In 2013 he graduated with MSC. degree in Agricultural Economics. Now he is working in Ambo University as a lecturer and researcher.
