Mbonigaba Celestin

Prof. Dr. Mbonigaba Celestin is an academic, researcher, and professional with over 15 years of experience in higher education, financial management, auditing, and institutional leadership. His qualifications include a postdoctoral Doctor of Commerce degree, postdoctoral fellowships in AI Powered Digital Transformation and Innovative Operations, and AI Driven Accounting and Blockchain Systems, a Ph.D. in Accounting Sciences, an MBA in Finance, and a Bachelor in Accounting Sciences.

His professional credentials include Certified Public Accountant, Project Management Professional, Certified Internal Auditor, and Certified Forensic Accountant. He also holds ISO 31000 and ISO 56002 certifications, supporting his expertise in risk management and innovation management. He has received national and international awards recognizing his academic achievements and administrative contributions.

His leadership experience includes serving as Director of Academic Service and Research, Director of Administration and Finance, and Head of the Internal Audit Unit at district level. Through these roles, he has contributed to stronger financial oversight, improved management practices, and greater operational efficiency.

Prof. Dr. Mbonigaba participates in advisory, management, and professional bodies across several countries. His affiliations include the DK International Research Foundation in India, Yes You Can International in the United Kingdom, accounting and auditing institutes in Pakistan and Rwanda, and the Association of Procurement Professionals in Rwanda. His research interests cover accounting sciences, supply chain optimization, artificial intelligence, and business administration.
