Valentin Uwizeyimana

Dr. Valentin Uwizeyimana serves as the Director of Academics and Quality Assurance at the University of Tourism, Technology and Business Studies (UTB) in Rwanda. As an accomplished scholar with global reach, he is also a Research Associate at Stellenbosch University (South Africa) and a Visiting Researcher at Technische Universität Chemnitz (Germany). Throughout his career, Dr. Uwizeyimana has held diverse academic and leadership roles across Africa and Europe. He holds a PhD and a Master’s degree (Cum Laude) in Technology for Language Learning, both from Stellenbosch University. Alongside these higher degrees, he holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Second Language Studies and a Bachelor’s degree with Honours in Languages with Education. Driven by a passion for educational innovation, his research spans higher education quality, language policy, computer- and mobile-assisted language learning, and the integration of emerging technologies in education.
