Biography

Dr. Danlami Moses Ogah is currently working as Professor in Animal Science Department at Nasarawa State University Keffi, Shabu-Lafia campus, Nigera. He obtained his PhD in Animal Breeding and Genetics from University of Agriculture Makurdi Benue State, Nigera. His topic of PhD thesis is “Genetic characterization of muscovy duck from guinea savannah and rainforest zones of Nigeria”. Dr Danlami Moses Ogah is also pursuing professional memberships i.e., Nigerian Institute of Animal Science, European Cytogenetics Association, Genetics Society of Nigeria, Nigerian Society for Animal Production, World Rabbit Science Association , World Poultry Science Association, Rare Breed International, National Association of Livestock Husbandry Scientists and Technologists of Nigeria, International Network for Family Poultry Development. He worked as Senior Lecturer and Dean, Assistant Lecturer, Visiting Lecturer at College of Agriculture, Lafia. Dr Danlami Moses Ogah received number of honor s and awards includes, Illinova project Community based guinea fowl productivity and value chain in north central Nigeria, World Poultry Science Association 2013, Travel Grant for older Scientist to WWF Conference, Vietnam, Award of Excellence by National Association of Livestock Husbandry Scientists and Technologists of Nigeria, Mashav Fellowship State of Israel. Dr Danlami Moses Ogah attended number of national and international conferences. He published 51 articles in journals as author/co-author/reviewer, 42 articles in conference proceeding. He is also Editorial Board member and member of Humanitarian and Social Associations.
