Biography

Maxwell N. Opara is an Associate Professor of Veterinary Parasitology in the Department of Veterinary Parasitology, University of Abuja, Nigeria. He holds the degrees of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), MSc(Cellular Parasitology) and PhD (Veterinary Parasitology. Maxwell has widely published in all areas of parasitology and Animal health in general. He has attended a training on Veterinary Public Health in 2005, which was organised by MASHAV/CINADCO in Israel, 12 weeks training in Molecular techniques and bioinformatics, organised by CIRAD in Guadeloupe (2011), 2 weeks training in Geomatics (2013) organised by UNU/INRA in Yaounde Cameroon. I received the STVM/CIRAD award in Mexico (2007) and the African Foundation scholarship of the WAAVP in Perth, Australia (2013).
