Dr. Olanike Kudirat Adeyemo is currently working as Professor in Department of Veterinary Public Health and Preventive Medicine, University Of Ibadan, Ibadan. She has completed her Ph.D. in Aquatic Epidemology and Toxicology from University of Ibadan, Ibadan, Nigeria. She is fellow of College of Veterinary Surgeon, Nigeria and Registered Veterinary Surgeon. She is member of many scientific societies such as Society of Toxicology, Nigerian Veterinary Medical Association, Fisheries Society of Nigeria, World Aquatic Veterinary Medical Association, Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, West African Research and Innovation Management Association, Network of Tropical Aquaculture and Fisheries Professionals, Wildlife Disease Association (WDA), Iowa, U.S.A, Association for Women’s Right in Development (AWID), Ontario, Canada, Women Organizing for change in Agriculture and Natural Resources Management, International Society for Environmental Information Sciences, and International network of women Engineers and Scientists. Dr. Olanike received honors includes Fellow of African Science Leadership programme, Fellow of African Academy of Sciences, Listed in the 2011 edition of Black Achievers in Science and Technology, a publication of the African Scientific Institute (ASI), Oakland, California, USA, Elected Fellow in African Scientific Institute (ASI), USA, and many others. She is also serving as reviewer for number of journals. She has supervised 28 D.V.M, and 22 MPVM/MVPH & M.Sc, and PhD. Her main area of research interest focuses on Aquatic Epidemiology and Food Safety, Ecotoxicology, Wildlife Toxicology, Global Public Health, Biochemical & Molecular Toxicology (Biomarkers), and Simulation Models of Environmental Fates of Contaminants. She has published 13 books, chapters in books, conference proceedings, monographs, briefs and technical reports, and 71b research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author. She also attended number of conference and workshops with presentations.
