Biography

Dr. Yasser A. Ahmed is currently working as Assistant Professor and Head Department of Histology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, South Valley University, Qena, Egypt. He obtained his PhD degree in the field of Veterinary Sciences from Faculty of Veterinary Sciences, Melbourne University, Melbourne, Australia in 2007. His prior work experience includes, Demonstrator, Assistant Lecturer of Histology, Lecturer of Histology, Founder and Manger of Quail Research unit, related to the department of Histology at Faculty of Veterinary medicine at South Valley University, Qena, Egypt. Dr. Yasser A. Ahmed is professional member of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine Board, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine team of Quality and Assurance of Veterinary Education, South Valley University Portal Project, SVU lab. Team, Assiut University Molecular Biology Research Unit, Midwest Microscopy and Microanalysis Society, Egyptian Society for Histology and Cytology, Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society, British Equine Veterinary Association, Network in Gene and Environmental development, Saudi Society of Biological Sciences. Dr. Yasser A. Ahmed received number of honors and awards includes, one of the best 10 posters in the The 3rd IOF Asian-Pacific Regional Conference on Osteoperosis and the 16th Annual Meeting of the Australian and New Zealand Bone and Mineral Society. Best presentation in Postgraduate Veterinary Annual Symposium, SVU international publication and incentive award. He published 16 articles in journals as author/co-author. He has also served his services at Sohag University and Aswan University.
