Biography

Dr. Ahmed Noah Badr, Researcher of food toxicology and contaminants, Food industrial and Nutrition Division, at National Research Centre, a member of many food toxicology projects such as MYcoRed FP7, Work in the area of control and inspection of food (ministry of supply 1998 -2002). Specialization: Biotechnology and molecular biology of reducing food toxins hazard, interested in Food Contaminants, Molecular Biology for food microorganisms, Mycotoxin Analysis, Food safety and hygiene, Bio control and biotechnological studies, (Enzymology) for reducing food toxins. MSc of mycotoxicology- Cairo university, titled: anti-aflatoxigenic and anti mycotic properties of probiotic bacteria, PhD of food science and technology-Alexandria University, titled: biotechnological applications to reduce toxigenic fungi and mycotoxins, membership of 8 professional associations, participated in more than 40 local & international conference, participated in two international projects as co-sub-coordinator(MycoRed FP7 and STDF-IRD). Work as Trainer for student scholarship program (SNG), Had a Short Term Visit (STV) in Bari, Italy from October 2012 to Febraury 2013 under title: Natural and Bio safe components as novel strategies for aflatoxin degradation in food. Had a short term visit on “Molecular Biology Experimental Technology” in Yangzhou University, Public Republic of China, from November to December 2015. Had award of Best PhD Thesis Award presented by the University of Alexandria in cooperation with the Unilever bright corporation, also had award of Best PhD Thesis Award presented by Scientific Food Safety Society, in cooperation with the Dr. Olivey Corporation for food industries, had award of the best presented by Malaysian Palm Oil Council (PMOC), award of Mycored project (FP7) for project activity and project organization for Egyptian branch role in the project. Had more than 25 training course in many areas (Climate changes, food safety, PCR, Nanotechnology, and Bioinformatics).
