Biography

Dr. Adel Rezk earned his Ph. D. From the Cairo University (Egypt) by cooperation with Wisconsin University (USA), Riverside with a specialization in plant virology. He currently is an Assistant Professor at Department of Biotechnology, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Science, King Faisal University (KFU)sense 2010. Previously he was a associate professor of the Plant Pathology institute at Agriculture research center, Egypt. His research has been on the molecular aspects of viruses infecting crops. He was a UNISCO Scholarship at Wisconsin University, USA. His PhD was about using the gene silencing to control TYLCV in tomato plants. Dr. Rezk has over 25 scientific papers and projects either presented or published. He is expert in many areas of Plant virology. Dr. Rezk is expertize in molecular science and plant virology field. He is a member in many counsels committee at the KFU.
