Biography

Dr. Abdel-Nasser Ahmed Hussein is currently working as Associate Professor at Faculty of Science, South Valley University, Egypt. He has completed his Ph.D. in Parasitology from same University. Previously he was appointed as Demonstrator of Zoology at Assiut University. Egypt, Assistant Professor at King Khalid University, Saudi Arabia, Assistant Professor at Sirt University, Libya, and Al-Baha University. Saudi Arabia. He is member of The Egyptian German Society of Zoology, the Union of Arab Biologists, and Saudi Biological Society. Dr. Abdel-Nasser received honors include South Valley University awards for the scientific publication, Grant from World federation of Parasitologist, Scholarship from The Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education in Ruhr-University Bochum, Germany. His main area of research focuses on Fasciola, Fascioliasis and Snails, Apicomplexa (coccidian parasites) and Helminthes Fauna of Reptiles, Schistosomiasis, and Parasites of fresh-water and Marine Fishes. He is also serving as member of editorial board and reviewer for journals such as Research Journal of Parasitology, Asian Journal of Epidemiology, Asian Journal of Biological Sciences, Journal of Applied Sciences, Pakistan Journal of Biological Sciences, Journal of Advanced Research, and Participating in refereeing projects proposals submitted to universities, Saudi Arabia. He has published 21 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
