Biography

Dr. Afshin Maleki is currently working as Professor at Department of Environmental Health Engineering, School of Health, Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences, Sanandaj, Iran. She has completed her Ph.D. in Environmental Health Engineering from Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. She also appointed as Lecturer, Dean, Assistant Professor, and Associate Professor at Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences. Dr. Afshin Maleki received honor includes Best researcher, and Exemplar lecturer in Kurdistan University of Medical Sciences. She has supervised 10 MSc. and 4 Ph.D. theses in Environmental Health Engineering, all of them in Water and Wastewater Engineering Subjects and Pollution Control. Her area of research interest focuses on Environmental Pollution Control and Monitoring, Waste Treatment, AOPs, and Nanotechnology. She has published 87 research articles in journals and 39 papers in conferences contributed as author/co-author.
