Biography

Dr. Fryad Zeki Henari holds a position of Associate Professor at Royal College of Surgeons, in Ireland, Medical University of Bahrain. He earned his PhD in Physics Department, Trinity College, University of Dublin, Dublin, Ireland. Previously he was appointed as Assistant Professor at University of Bahrain. He is expertise in Fabrication and characterisation of Optical Waveguides (polymer and glass) using Spin Coating and ion Exchange Techniques, Fabrication of Optical Coatings using RF Sputtering and Vacuum Deposition Techniques. He has been involved in 5 research projects. Dr. Fryad has supervised 3 PhD thesis and 10 years final years’ projects. He is member of editorial board International Journal of Thin Films Science and Technology, International Journal of Experimental Physics, and Journal of Soft Matter and reviewer for Optical Society of America, Optics and Lasers in Engineering, Optical communication, applied physics letters, Chemical physics letter, Journal of Applied Polymer Science, and Materials Science in Semiconductor Processing. Dr. Fryad has 70 publications in journals as well as 7 books contributed as author/co-author.
