Dr. Osama Yaseen M. Al-Rawi is currently working as Assistant Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering/Control and Systems Engineering at Gulf University, Bahrain. He has obtained his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Technology, Baghdad, Iraq. Previously he was performed his duties as Lab Assistant, Teaching Assistant and Lecturer at University of Technology, Baghdad/Iraq, Lecturer at The University of AL Mustansiriyah, Baghdad, Iraq and Al-mamon University College, Baghdad/Iraq, Assistant Professor at University of AL Mustansiriyah, Baghdad, Iraq, and Assistant Professor at University of Technology, Baghdad/Iraq. He has completed 4 research projects. Dr. Osama received honors include awarded a certificate from the Professional Certification and Consultation Center (PCCC), Gulf University and awarded a certificate from Iraqi Laser Society. His main area of research interest focuses on Power Electronic Circuits Design, Computer Interfacing and Instrumentation, Internet and Web Technology, Computer Control System Design and analysis, Electronic Circuits Design, Microcontroller applications, Genetic Algorithms and optimization, Intelligent Control System Design, Digital Control Systems, Electrical Machines and renewable energy Systems. He has published 6 research articles in journals, 1 book chapter and 5 papers in conferences and workshops. He is member of Iraqi Laser Society, Baghdad/ Iraq, Iraqi Engineers Union, and member of Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers. He is also serving as reviewer for IEEE transactions on Industrial Electronics Journal, IEEE transactions on Power Systems Journal, American Association for Science and Technology, Journal of Engineering Science and Technology, and Springer Journals, Neural Computing and Applications.
