Dr. Farkhanda Manzoor holds a position of Chairperson, and Professor at Department of Zoology, Lahore College for Women University, Lahore. She has completed her PhD in Entomology from University of the Punjab, Lahore, Pakistan and Post Doctoral Fellow in Biological Control from The Ohio State University, USA. Previously she was appointed as Visiting Faculty in the Discipline of Environment Management at National College of Business Administration and Economics Lahore, and Assistant professor at Garrison Post Graduate College for women, Lahore. She is Editor-in-Chief Journal of Innovative Sciences. She is member of National Curriculum Revision committee, in Entomology at Higher Education commission, Pakistan, member of Third World Organization for Women in Science, President of Friends of Nature Society at Garrison Post Graduate College for women, Lahore Cantt, Resource person of National Program on Aids, member of Rotary club of Lahore Garrison, youth council for Antinarcotics, Pakistan Society for Parasitology, Royal Entomological Society London, U.K, Entomological Society of America, life fellow of Zoological Society of Pakistan, member of Asia Pacific Rim Termite Research Group, International group on Wood protection, and The Asian Council of Science Editors. She has supervised 20 MS Students, 28 B.S (Hons) and 1 PhD student, 5 PhD students currently in her supervision. She has published 95 research articles in national and international journals. Dr. Farkhanda received honors include awarded Better Incentive initiative for the year 2012-2013 (Cash) on the Recommendation of the Vice Chancellor, and Gold Medal by Idara Farogh-a-Taleem. She also attended 30 training courses at national and international level and 25 research papers presented at international conferences. She also completed 5 funded research projects.
