Biography

Dr. Basharat Mushtaq obtained his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from University of Kashmir, Srinagar, India. His main area of research interest related to Ecology and Environment: Limnology, Lake Ecology, Water Quality, Sediment Chemistry and Benthic Fauna Environment Impact Assessment: Air Quality and Soil Chemistry. He worked as Junior Research Fellow for 2 years and Senior Research Fellow for 1 year in Dal Lake Project with J & K LAWDA. He also worked as Associate Functional Area Expert in many Research Projects. He actively participated in 7 seminars and workshops. He also presented 5 paper/abstracts in conferences and symposium. He is also serving as member of editorial board in Journal of Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development, International Journal of Environmental Planning and Management, and American journal of Renewable and Sustainable energy. He is author and co-author of 18 research papers.
