Biography

Dr. Venugopal Ramachandran has completed his Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from University of Madras, Chennai, India. Currently he is working as a Tutor in the Department of Biochemistry, DM Wayanad Institute of Medical Sciences, Naseera Nagar, Meppadi (P.O.), Wayanad, Kerala India. His research experience includes worked as Postdoctoral Researcher at Korea National University of Education, Cheongwon-gun, Chungbuk South Korea, NPO International Laboratory of Biochemistry, Nagoya, Japan, and Project Fellow under UGC major project at University of Madras. His area of research interest related to Cancer Biochemistry, Free Radical Biology, Protein Biochemistry, Cancer Chemoprevention, Cancer Biology, Diabetology and Inflammatory Diseases (Arthritis, Sepsis etc.). He has 12 publications in journals, and presented/attended 11 papers in conferences/seminars. He is member of scientific societies such as International Society of Ethnopharmacology, Canadian Society for Pharmaceutical Sciences the Korean Society of Applied Pharmacology, and Indian Association of BioMedical Scientists.
