Biography

Dr. Muralidhar.T.S is presently working as Project Coordinator in R&D. Natural Remedies Pvt. Ltd, India. previously he worked as Professor & Head, Post Graduate Department of Biotechnology, Dayananda Sagar Institutions, Bangalore. He himself committed for professional caliber to serve for the betterment of organizational growth- Administration /Teaching and Research i.e., in new drug development from herbal origin. He is here with 18 years of research and 8 years of teaching experience in herbal industries: R&D and Post Graduate Biotechnology Dept, in the fields of Biotechnology / Pharmacology / Toxicology / Histopathology and trained under German Health Ministry Authorities /RITA. Good Laboratory Practice compliance (BGVV/GLP). He have contributed 36 research articles and merited publication in International journals. Presently he is engaged in few research projects with his students of M.Sc., Mphil. MTech, PhD and in his NGO and, Pharma Industries group - as an adviser. Presently, he works on plant secondary metabolites of medical importance, isolation, validation for efficacy & safety under in vitro and in vivo, identification and isolation of new herbal drugs for anti-stress, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease, cancer & Parkinson’s disease, and also guiding many MSc and PhD students for their research projects and has published many research papers. He supervised 2 students of PhD at CMJ University, 3 students of MPhil at Bharathiyar and Bharthidasan University and 2 students of MTech. Currently he is pursuing 4 students of PhD. Dr. Muralidhar is in Editorial Board member of 3 journals. He also honored by Photon Research Award-2014 in Biotechnology for the outstanding scientific contributions in International Journal of Biotechnology - Photon.
