Biography

Dr. Godfred Antony Menezes is currently working as Assistant Professor & Scientist at Hail University, Hail, Saudi Arabia. He has received his Ph.D. in Medical Microbiology from Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research, Pondicherry, India. Dr. Godfred started his career as Scientist at Erasmus MC, Rotterdam, The Netherlands, than appointed as Lecturer at SSR Medical College, Belle Rive, Mauritius, and Assistant Professor & Scientist at Sree Balaji Medical College & Hospital, Chennai. He has also worked as a short term research worker on Nanoscience in the renowned Indian Institute of Science (IISc, Bangalore, India). He has been working extensively on Molecular Characterization of Enterobacteriaceae members, particularly extended and expanded Spectrum Beta-Lactamase producing Bacteria and Fluoroquinolone Resistant Bacteria. He has been a faculty of several Medical Institutes and also a Para-Medical Institute. He is member of the International Association of Medical and Biomedical Researchers, International Society for Infectious Diseases, Indian Initiative for Management of Antibiotic Resistance, and life member of Indian Association of Medical Microbiologists. He is Editor-in-Chief of an indexed journal-Journal of Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences, and member of editorial board in more than dozen journals. Dr. Godfred has received honors include King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) initial approval for research grant in 2015 from the Govt. of Saudi Arabia, as Principal Investigator, Young Investigators-Research Grant from Department of Biotechnology-(DBT), New Delhi, Govt. of India, as Principal Investigator, International travel grant from CSIR for travel to China to attend a conference International travel grant from DST, Govt. of India, for travel to Thailand to attend a conference with a paper presentation, Prize winner at the 1st Global forum on Bacterial infections, New Delhi, and Marquis Whos Who has printed his biography in 2011 to 2014 Edition of Whos Who in the World, the world-renowned reference directory by the publisher of Whos Who in America, and Recognized PhD guide under Bharathiar University (State Govt.) for Medical Sciences. He has published 51 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author.
