Biography

Dr. Mohammad Israil Ansari is currently working as Professor at Amity Institute Biotechnology, Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow Campus, Lucknow, India. He has completed his Postdoctoral Fellow in Plant Molecular Biology from Academia Sinica, Taiwan. He is Biologist with expertise in thrust areas of Molecular Biology, Plant Physiology, Stress Physiology and Agricultural Biotechnology. He is having 22 years of research and 11 years of teaching experience. He also served as visiting Scientist at Institute of Plant Biology, National Taiwan University, and Institute of Plant and Microbial Biology Academia Sinica, Taipei, Taiwan. Dr. Mohammad Israil received honors National Science Council Fellowship, Taiwan, Academia Sinica Fellowship, Taiwan, National Science Council Fellowship, Taiwan, Indian Council for Agriculture Research Associate Fellowship, Best Poster Award at International Symposium on Functional Genomics, Taipei, Taiwan, and Best Scientific Contribution Award. He is member of International Society of Sugarcane Technologist, Society of Professional Biotechnologist, India, and Sugarcane Technologist of India. His main area of interest focuses on Molecular Biology, Plant Physiology, Stress Physiology and Agricultural Biotechnology. He also guided 20 M. Tech. Thesis, and 25 MSc and 30 B. Tech. He has published 25 research articles in journals. He also attended more than 40 International and National Symposia and Workshops and also performed presentations.
