Biography

Dr. Amita Attlee is currently working as Assistant Professor at Department of Clinical Nutrition & Dietetics, College of Health Sciences, University of Sharjah, U.A.E. She has completed her Ph.D. in Physical Work Capacity from University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, India. Previously she was appointed as Lecturer at University of Rajasthan, India, Lecturer, and Assistant Professor at University of Delhi, India, Corporate Technical Manager at R & D and Technical Operations, VLCC Health Care Ltd., Gurgaon, India, Regional Technical Head at VLCC International LLC, Dubai, UAE, Assistant Professor and Chair at University of Sharjah, U.A.E. Dr. Amita is also serving as reviewer for international journals such as Ecology of Food and Nutrition, Jordon Journal of Biological Sciences, International Journal of Food Properties, Journal Food and Nutritional Science, Neuropsychiatric Disease and Treatment, Journal of Ovarian Research, and Journal of Pediatric Epilepsy. She is member of editorial board in Journal Food and Nutritional Science and International Journal of Nutritional Health and Food Engineering. Dr. Amita is member of Emirates Clinical Nutrition Society (ECNS) under Emirates Medical Association, UAE Nutrition Group, Nutrition Society of India, and Indian Dietetics Association. Dr. Amita has published 10 research articles in journals, 5 chapters in books contributed as author/co-author. She successfully supervised 15 undergraduate and 10 graduate students thesis.
