Biography

Dr. Vallampati Ramachandra Prasad is currently working as Professor in Mathematics at Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science, Madanapalle. He has completed his PhD from Sri Venkateswara University in 2007. Previously he was appointed as Lecturer at Department of Mathematics, Besant Theosophical College, Madanapalle, India, and Assistant Professor at Department of Mathematics, Madanapalle Institute of Technology and Science, Madanapalle, India. He has published 3 books, 62 research articles in journals and 15 conference papers contributed as author/co-author. He is presently working as reviewer for over 20 national and International journals. Currently he is supervising 5 graduate students. His more recent work has involved non-Newtonian fluid dynamics, fluid particle suspensions and Lid Driven Cavities, the numerical methods he has used is Finite differences Method, finite element Method, Network Simulation Methods and finite volume codes for the solution of the above topics have been developed by him in collaborations with US, Indian, Spanish, British and Taiwanese researchers. His main area of interest focuses on teaching and conducting research in the fields of Heat and Mass Transfer, Thermodynamics, Numerical Analysis, Numerical Methods, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Finite Difference Method (FDM), Finite Volume Method (FVM), Numerical Algorithms for Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics, Operations Research.
