Biography

Dr. Ajay Kumar Gautam is currently working as Associate Professor and Director Research at Abhilashi University, Mandi, Himachal Pradesh, India. He also spent some years as Project Fellow, Guest Faculty and Junior Research Fellow in different Departments of Jiwaji University. He has published 22 national and 21 international research papers, and also presented research papers in more than 20 national and international conferences and 01 book in the book name is “Additions to New Plant Fungal Disease” Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany (UK). He is also invited as a resource person as mycotoxin expert for a workshop organised by School of Studies in Botany, Jiwaji University Gwalior. He is lifetime member of various national and international scientific and professional organizations. He is serving as an editor/editorial, associate, managing and technical board member and as well as reviewer of many journals. He actively attended and presented number of (paper/posters) at international / national seminars, symposia, conferences, workshops and training courses. His areas of research interest inclined towards Mycology (Taxonomy, Ecology and Biology of Fungi) and Plant Pathology and General Microbiology techniques for collection, identification, biodiversity study, ecology, molecular biology and biotechnology.
