Biography

Jamil Hossain has been working as Scientific Officer, Agronomy Division, Pulses Research Centre, BARI, Ishurdi-6620 from 2011. Before joining BARI, he had been working as Executive Officer, Janata Bank Limited (2010) and Inspector, Factories and Establishment Department (2009). Completed MS (Agronomy) from Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Dhaka in 2008 and B Sc Ag (Hons) in 2005 from University of Rajshahi. Research experiences on weed management, reley cropping, intercropping, cropping pattern, crop physiology and varietal improvement of pulses crop. Dissemination of technologies to the agricultural extension personnel and farmers through training, field days, workshop, and BARI technology village. Nineteen scientific articles have been published in different journals at home and abroad and published five booklets.
