Biography

Dr. Qian Sun obtained her PhD degree in Food Sciences from China Agricultural University, Beijing, China in 2010. In past she worked as Research Assistant at University of Alabama at Birmingham, Birmingham, Alabama, USA, Emory University, Atlanta, GA, USA, and University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB), Galveston, TX, USA. Dr. Qian Sun received honors include, the First Prize for Scholarship of AIPU Food Industry, Top-ten Excellent Paper Award of the year 2008, offered to a few students (about 1% of graduate students of entire college) with excellent performance in community service. She has published 18 articles in journals as author/co-author. She is member of European Cancer Prevention Organization. She is also serving as Editor in-Chief of International Journal of Nursing.
