Biography

Dr. Dawei Xue is an Associate Professor at College of Biology and Environmental Science, Hangzhou Normal University, China. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from China National Rice Research Institute, CAAS in 2006. He has worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Zhejiang University (2006-2008). His scientific activity was mainly focused on: plant genetics, molecular marker, and molecular mechanism dissection of important agronomic traits in crops. His teaching includes courses on Molecular Biology and Plant Molecular Breeding. Since 2005, he has written more than 30 papers on this topic.
