Dr. Hui Kwun Nam is currently working as Associate Professor at Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Pusan National University, Busan, Republic of Korea. He obtained his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from The University of Hong Kong in 2009. In past he worked as Postdoctoral Associate in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey, New Jersey, US, and Assistant Professor at Pusan National University. He is also serving as member of editorial board and reviewer in number of journals. He has considerable experience in Preparations and Applications of Nano-porous Catalysts/Adsorbents/Nanowires such as Zeolite, MWCNT, Graphene Composites, Co3O4, etc, in Air Purification, Catalytic Combustion, Energy Production/storage, Water Treatment, Organic Light-emitting Diodes (OLEDs), ZnO based Photovoltaic Cell, III-V Semiconductors LEDs and Solid-state Lighting. His research is in the interdisciplinary field of Heterogeneous Catalysis, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Materials Chemistry and Science, Transport Phenomena and Process Modeling and Optimization. He focuses on preparation of Functional Nanomaterials for Efficient Energy Harvest and Conversion, Pollution Control and Environmental Remediation. Currently, he is supervising 8 PhD, 4 Master, 4 UG students and collaborating with colleagues in USA, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Australia, China and Hong Kong. Thus far, his research has led to 1 USA and 6 Korea patents, and 7 Korea pending patents, 85 journal publications and 59 international conference papers. Recently, He was awarded a teaching fund from Pusan National University targeting at development and enhancement of undergraduate SCI writing.
