Biography

Dr. Tatiana Karabchuk holds a position of Assistant Professor at United Arab Emirates University, College of Humanities and Social Science, Department of Sociology, and Deputy Director at Eurasian Monitor (survey research partnership), Moscow. She has completed her PhD in Economic Sociology from National Research University Higher School of Economics (HSE) in 2009 and PhD in Sociology from Humboldt University, Germany in 2016. Previously she was appointed as Junior Research Fellow and Research Fellow, Deputy Director and Associate Professor at National Research University Higher School of Economics, Moscow. She has worked on 17 funded research projects. Dr. Tatiana received honors include Short-term research visit fellowship from Hitotsubashi University, Tokyo, Japan, Research visit at University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, Population Centre, IOS Visiting Fellowship for Senior Researchers, and Annual HSE rewards for academic publication activities. She has published 41 research articles in journals. She also attended number of conferences and workshops.
