Biography

Dr. Nor Azman Bin Kasan is currently working as Lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, Malaysia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Biosciences from University of Adelaide, Australia. He also performed his duties as Research Assistant at Hospital Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and UTM, and Tutor at Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. His area of expertise includes Biological Sciences, Ecology, Limnology, (Biology), Environmental Sciences, Environmental Management and Bioremediation, Catchment management, (Environment). Currently he is working on 5 research projects. He is also serving as senior member of the Institute of Research Engineers and Doctors (TheIRED), Asian Federation of Biotechnology (AFOB), Rakan Alam Sekitar, Department of Environment (DOE), Malaysia, senior member of Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological and Environmental Engineering Society, and affiliate member at Institute Akuakultur Tropika (AKUATROP), UMT. He was received 1 Gold Award, 2 Bronze Award, and 1 Silver Award from Universiti Malaysia Terengganu. He has published 1 book, 2 chapters in book, 2 research articles in journals, 3 thesis, and 13 proceeding. He has supervised 3 PhD students, 5 masters and 21 bachelor students. He is also serving as reviewer and editor for journals. He also attended number of seminars and trainings.
