Biography

Dr. Tony Hadibarata is currently working as Faculty member of Institute of Environmental and Water Resources Management (IPASA), Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He has completed his Ph.D. in Environmental Science from same University. His main area of interest related to Bioremediation of Toxic Pollutants (POPs, PAHs, etc), Environmental Microbiology, Environmental Toxicology, Industrial Microbiology, and Enzyme Technology. He supervised 1 postdoctoral, 4 PhD, 11 MSc, and 14 undergraduate students. He has lead 19 research projects and completed more than 8 research projects funded by various agencies. He has published 62 research articles in journals, 1 book, 2 book chapters, and 21 papers in conferences contributed as author/co-author. Dr. Tony received honors includes publication Award 2011 by Faculty of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Best Article 2010 (Identification of metabolic intermediates in microbial degradation of chrysene by Armillaria sp. F022) in Indonesian Journal of Biotechnology and Anugerah Penerbitan Citra Karisma 2013, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. He is member of The Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry, Society of Applied Microbiology, Japan Wood Research Society, Indonesian Wood Research Society, Malaysian Society of Microbiology, and Malaysian Society of Civil Engineering. He is member of editorial board in 6 journals and reviewer for 23 national and international journals.
