Biography

Dr. Mohamed Khadeer Ahamed. B. is currently working as Chief Scientific Officer in EMAN Research & Testing Lab, Department of Pharmacology, School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Pulau Pinang, Malaysia. He completed his PhD in 2008 in Biotechnology from Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Department, Kuvempu University, Shankaraghatta, Karnataka, India. He is currently handling 9 ongoing projects. His prior work experience includes Research Associate, Assistant Professor and Lecturer at different universities. He has received number of awards including Best Publication Award, Universiti Sains Malaysia for Pharmacy & Pharmacology for year 2014, Biological Chemistry Best Collection Award for the year 2013 & 2014, Best Publication Award sponsored by Aldrich and John Wiley & Sons, Ltd (2013) Gold Medal in BioMalaysia Exhibition conducted in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, 2012, Silver Medal in international exhibition conducted in Geneva, Swizerland, 2011 & Junior Fellow from Department of Biotechnology Govt. of India, 2009. He has published 66 research papers, attended 7 international & national conferences & presented 10 articles in the conferences. He is also 2 Patents holder.
