Biography

Dr. Evan Lau is currently servicing as a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) and Managing Editor of International Journal of Business and Society (IJBS). He has completed his Ph.D. in International Economics from Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. He is actively involves in research covering the areas of Applied Economics and Econometrics, International Economics and Finance and also topics in Open Economy Macroeconomics. To date, he has 26 post-graduate students under his supervision. Those who had completed include 3 Master of Science (Economics) and 12 students from Corporate Masters of Business Administration. Those being in progress are the remaining 12 of which 7 masters of sciences in Economics (5 as the chairperson, and 2 as advisory committee); and 5 PhD students (as advisory committee). Also, he had successfully supervised 64 undergraduate students. He has published 53 research articles in journals, edited 2 books, and 37 chapters in book/proceedings contributed as author/co-author.
