Biography

Professor Ramayah Thurasamy is currently attached to the Operations Management section at the School of Management, Universiti Sains Malaysia. previously he was appointed as Visiting Professor at Information Management, National Taiwan University Taiwan (R.O.C.), Visiting Fellow at Department of Information Systems, The University of Melbourne Melbourne Australia, Senior Research Fellow at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Honorary Research Fellow at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, Adjunct Professor at Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), and Multimedia Universiti (MMU), Malaysia and Visiting Professor at King Saud University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He has taught courses in Statistics, Operations Management, Research Methods, Forecasting and Computer Literacy at undergraduate level. He has supervised numerous PhD/MA/MBA students in the fields of Information Systems, Operations Management, Marketing Management and Organizational Behavior. He is also currently supervising numerous students at the MA and PhD levels. He has conducted Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) workshops in Malaysia, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand and India. He has conducted workshops in UUM, UKM, UTM, UiTM, UMK, UMS, UNIMAS, USIM, UMT, UMP, UTHM, INTAN and Polytechnic Colleges in Malaysia. He has also presented numerous papers at local and international conferences having won 5 Best Papers award. He also serves on the editorial boards and program committee of several international journals and conferences of repute. He has completed 23 funded research projects. He has published 285 research articles in journals contributed as author/co-author. He is also acting as reviewer for several journals.
