Biography

Dr. Elhassan Mohammed Elhassan Ishag holds a position of Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Epidemiology, Scientific Research, Science and Technology at University of Gezira, Senior Consultant Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Wad Medani Teaching Hospital, and Research Professor at University of Gezira Scientific Research Centre. He has completed his M.D. in Obstetrics and Gynecology from same University. He is a Chief Supervisor of Nurse Midwifery School, Midwives School at Gezira State Ministry of Health Academies, conducts Medical Staff Refresh Courses on Obstetric Emergency, Ministry of Health, an external examiner at around 26 Universities. He worked as Assistant Director, Chief of Infection Control Committee, Chief of Quality Control Committee, Chief of Hospital Cross infection Control Committee. Among these activities, he is a scientific researcher and reviewer of several International Journals having more than 60 publications, international and regional and innumerable International soft commentaries and posts. He participated in more than 105 workshops, International Conferences and seminars. He is fellow of more than 30 scientific initiatives, international organizations, platforms and institutes; Accredited (WHO) Quoted Source Information, Department of Human Resources, Geneva, International Council of Science(ICSU), Paris and its Regional Office and Committee for Africa, African Scientists Institute, Initiative to Strengthen Health Research Capacity in Africa (ISHReCA) and its Steering Scientific Committee, Pilot International Organization and its Scientific Committee, Chairman of World Clean Technology Summit, 1012 ,2013, Uganda, Asian Scientific Editors, International Scientific Editors. He is a Clinical Expert and Consultant at (UNFPA), Médecins Sans Frontières International (MSF) and Refugees Commission, Sudan. He is a winner of Innovation and Sustainability Global Scientist Award by Pilot International Organization, 2011, Kampala, Uganda, the leading Physician of the World and Top Health Care Professional by the International Association of Healthcare Professionals, 2012, Global Award of Community Development by Pilot International Organization, 2013 and more (3) National Awards. He searches on Promotion of scientific approach in medicine, capacity building, Maternal and prenatal morbidity and mortality epidemiology and epidemiological impact of endemic diseases, the neglected and poverty, Malaria in pregnancy. He got a lot of objective targets in teaching to embed and insert together with development of scientific research among the teaching practice, especially that of the undergraduates.
