Biography

Dr. Bolade Agboola is currently working as Associate Professor of Chemistry, American University of Nigeria, Yola, Nigeria. He earned his PhD degree in Chemistry from Rhodes University, Grahams town, South Africa in 2007. He then carried out post-doctoral research in Chemistry Department, University of Pretoria, mainly co-supervising MSc and PhD students’ work, February 2007-December 2008. He later joined Energy and Processes group, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), South Africa. He joined American University of Nigeria (AUN), Yola, Nigeria in January. As at April 2015, Dr. Bolade Agboola has published twenty nine (29) peer-reviewed articles with over three hundred (300) citations in high impact factor journals. He reviews for many reputable Chemistry Journals. He is a rated researcher by the National Research Council (NRF), South Africa, and also an external examiner for a number of graduate schools in South Africa. His research interests includes Electrochemistry of nanomaterials and their applications, Corrosion study with focus on oil pipeline corrosion chemistry and prevention, Waste management study and Crude oil and its fractions research: physical and chemical processes.
