Dr. Fawzi Abdulkreim Ikraiam is currently working as Professor at Omar Al-Mukhtar University (OMU), Faculty of Science, Physics Department, El-Beida, Libya. He obtained his PhD degree in Microelectronics from Warsaw University of Technology, Facculty of Electroins and InformationTechnology, Institute of Microelectroincs, Warsaw, Poland in 1998, MSc in High Energy Physics from University of Manitoba, Faculty of Science, Department of Physics, Winnipeg, Man, Canada in 1992. His topic of PhD thesis is “Modeling of Capacitance-Voltage Electrical Characteristics of MOS Capacitors on Silicon-on-Insulator (SOI) Substrates”. His area of specialization includes Microelectronics and High Energy Physics. He has great deal of teaching experience in physics and related courses at both the undergraduate and graduate studies. He engaged in research in the field of high energy physics where he worked at the Masters level at the University of Manitoba, Canada. His main work was to investigate and estimate magnetic properties of some of the steels used in ZEUS detector. He has also a great deal of experience in the area of microelectronics where he worked at the PhD level at the Warsaw University of Technology in the area of semiconductor device theory, modeling and simulation with special interest in modeling, circuit simulation and characterizing SOI-MOS devices. He has published 49 articles in journals as author/co-author.
