Biography

Dr. Mohamed Nageeb Rashed is currently working as Professor of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry, Director of Scientific Digital Laboratories, Director of University Researches Marketing Center at Aswan University, Egypt. He received his PhD in Environmental Analytical Chemistry, MSc. Chemistry from Assuit University in 1989 & 1985 respectively. He is member of number of scientific societies. His research activity focused on several issues, Treatment of Wastewater and industrial wastes, Adsorption of heavy and toxic metals using natural ores, Dried plants and solid wastes as well as its application for wastewater treatment, Photocatalytic degradation of organic and inorganic pollutants in liquid wastes, Speciation and distribution of trace and toxic metals in Nile and Nasser Lake mud sediments, aquatic plants, fish and water. He is also serving as reviewer and editor in number of national and international journals. He also actively participated in many national and international conferences. He enrolled among Top 2% Scientists Around the World
from Stanford University, USA, 2020. Dr. Mohamed Nageeb also received honors including, The Egyptian National Award for Environmental Researches, Fellowship to Roma-1 University, Fellowship to attend and participate in the 3rd World Water Forum, Kyoto, Japan, Certificate from 4th World Water Congress, Certificate from Iran National Science Foundation for acted as a referee for the proposal numbered. He is supervisor of several M.Sc.and Ph.D. thesis in the fields of wastewater management, pollution, analytical and environmental analytical chemistry. He has published 90 scientific papers at national and international level.
