Biography

Dr. Maha F soliman completed her undergraduate studies at Suez Canal University, Egypt, in 1991 and received her M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in Parasitology from same university. At the University she has served as Teaching Assistant, Lecturer, and Associate Professor and now as Professor. Her research focused on several issues in field of parasitology, mainly epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of parasitic diseases of man and animals. She has focused also on the role of parasites as a bio indicator of pollution in aquatic environment. Recently, she focuses on application of molecular approaches in the field of parasitic diseases. She is serving as reviewer in international journals. She published 22 articles in journals as author/co-author. She teaches several parasitology courses at the university and supervised a number of graduate students (M.Sc., Ph.D.) at different research institute of Egypt.
