Biography

Dr. Medhat Mekhail Tawfik is currently working as Professor of Field Crops, Field Crop Research Department, National Research Centre. He has completed his Ph.D. (Plant Eco-physiology), Faculty of Science from University of Cairo (2002). He is member of several national and international scientific societies such as Syndicates of Scientist, youth researcher in the National Research Center, Agriculture Chemistry and Environment Protection Society, Agronomy society, Clean Farming Association Society, Egypt, Scientific and Culture society of NRC, Poverty and Nature (a platform for practitioners working on ecosystem management and poverty alleviation, associate member in Association of Agricultural Research Institutions in the Near East and North Africa (AARINENA), member of Technical committee of NRC, and Senior member in Asia-Pacific Chemical, Biological& Environmental Engineering Society. He also participated in number of research projects as principal investigator, co-investigator and member of project. He is editor in chief Associate of the Basic Research Journal of Agricultural Science Review (BRJASR), associate editor in the International Journal of Botany, Asian Journal of Agricultural Research, Asian Journal of Crop Science, member of International Advisory Board and the Representative of Journal of Genetic and Environmental Resources Conservation (JGERC) in Egypt and member of editorial board in International Journal of Crop Science and Technology. He also reviewed number of papers in journals and conferences. He has published 91 research articles in journals and 2 books contributed as author/co-author.
