Biography

Dr. Azza Abdel-Azim Mohamed Ahmed is currently working as Associate Professor at Communication Studies and Languages Department, College of Arts and Sciences Abu Dhabi University, UAE, and Cairo University, Egypt. She has completed her Ph.D. in Mass Communication from Cairo University, Egypt, and M.A Degree in Mass Communication from The American University in Cairo. Previously she was appointed as Teaching Assistant, Assistant Lecturer, and Assistant Professor in Radio & Television Department, Faculty of Mass Communication, Cairo University Egypt, and Assistant Professor at Mass Communication Department College of Humanities and Social Sciences at United Arab Emirates University, Emirates. She has supervised 7 undergraduate students and 2 masters and PhD students. She also attended various workshops, conferences and trainings. She also served as Vice President of Arab-United States Association of Communication Educators, AUSACE, and member of Arab European Association for Communication Professors and Researchers, Asian Media International Centre, reviewer for the AUSACE annual conferences, reviewer for some international journals and conferences such as NMS and AEJMC, and International Communication Association. She has published 11 research articles in journals. Dr. Azza received honors include got Excellent English Paper Certificate in the 17th AUSACE annual Conference at Georgia State University, and got the 3rd place award Excellence in research.
