Biography

Dr. Satish Chandra holds a position of Senior Specialist Pathology and Lab Medicine, Director Medical Research, Tawam Hospital-Johns Hopkins Medicine International Affiliate, and Associate Clinical Professor at UAE University-School of Medicine. He earned his PhD degree in Medical Biochemistry from University of Minnesota, Faculty of Medicine, and MBBS from College of Medicine University of Kanpur, India. Previously he was appointed as Assistant Professor/Clinical Instructor at Eppley Cancer Institute, Nebraska, USA, Assistant Professor Physiology and Anatomy at University of Cincinnati, OH, USA, and Chairman at Department of New Therapeutics & Trials, Merck, California, USA. He is also serving as member of editorial board in Medical Archives USA, International Journal of Clinical Trials USA, Contemporary Clinical Trials, USA, reviewer for Journal of Diabetes Technology and Therapeutics, Vice Chair at Al Ain Medical District Human Research Ethics Committee, A Central Ethics Committee for the Eastern Region of the UAE, project reviewer Health Authority of Abu Dhabi, UAE. Dr. Satish received honors includes Young Research Investigator Award, New Investigator Award from International Symposium Advances in Clinical Pathology, USA, and Training Fellowship Award from International Biomedical Research (INRC-CPDD) Colorado, USA. He has published 55 research articles in journals and 1 book contributed as author/co-author. He mentored 29 Medical Students and Residents, 5 Students, of MD, PhD Twin Program, 6 PhD Students, 8 MBA Healthcare Students and 2 Doctorate in Health Administration students.
