Biography

Mr. Saeid Movahed is Ph.D. Student in Mechanical Engineering from University of Waterloo, Canada. He has completed his MSc in Mechanical Engineering (Applied Mechanics) from Shiraz University, Iran. Previously he was appointed as Technical Expert at Heat Industry of Iran, Teaching Assistance at Shiraz University, Shiraz, Iran, Technical Expert at Jelve-Gostar Company, Teaching Assistance at University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada. His main area of research interest focuses on Microfluidics and Nanofluidics, Electrokinetic Effects in Micro- and Nanochannels, Lab-on-a-Chip, Biological Cell Engineering, and Instability in Microfluidic Systems. He has published 8 research articles in journals as well as 10 conference papers contributed as author/co-author.
